Our Wedding

Our story actually began long before our first date. Growing up, Addi’s nanny was Grant’s older sister, Lauren, so Addi was always familiar with Grant and his family. For years, though, that was where the story stayed.Eventually, Lauren decided to give things a little push. She texted Addi and asked, “Would you ever be interested in going on a date with my brother?” Thankfully, the answer was yes, and Grant asked Addi out.Their first date was at FireRock Grille in Caledonia, and from there, the rest came pretty naturally. What started with a little matchmaking from Lauren turned into a relationship filled with family, laughter, and so many memories together.On July 30th, Grant proposed at Alberta Beach near Crystal Lake and Frankfort, one of their favorite places. He made the moment even more special by having both of their families there to celebrate with them.Looking back, it’s funny how many times their paths had already crossed before they ever went on that first date. Addi and Grant went to the same elementary school, the same high school, grew up attending the same church, and even ended up at the same college. Somehow, they spent years crossing paths without ever realizing where it would all lead. From growing up around the same people and places, to a first date that took a little help from Lauren, to getting engaged in one of their favorite places, Addi and Grant couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter—and to celebrate it with all of you!
